Yuji Haraguchi is the founder and owner of OKONOMI / YUJI Ramen as well as Osakana Brooklyn and Osakana East Village in NYC. Originally working at a Japanese wholesale fish company, Yuji built his companies from scratch with the goal of educating people about Japanese food and culture as well as introducing new Japanese trends. He is a big proponent of the Mottainai philosophy (Mot-thai-nay), a Japanese concept of being mindful about waste.
